About the Camp
The 2022 “Art of Science” Summer Camp will be organized by RMC Academy LLC. Our goal is to inspire students to pursue various STEM fields, including Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science to further Olympiad competition skills in these fields. We also provide other courses such as Business, Photography, and Writing to broaden students' interest. Students will participate in a two-week residential camp at St. Olaf College. Students will attend courses throughout the day and will participate in activities in the evening.
St Olaf College COVID policy for summer camps and conference

St Olaf College COVID policy for summer camps and conference
- In order to participate at a conference/camp on the St. Olaf campus in 2022, you must be up to date on vaccinations, as defined by the CDC, and be able to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination. Requests for vaccine exemptions for medical or religious reasons must be made in advance and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us if you believe you have an extenuating situation that may impede your ability to follow these guidelines. We reserve the right to refuse service.
- Recent COVID policy update (4/7/22): as an alternative to the 3 shot vaccinations, within 24 hours for an negative antigen test or within 72 hours for a negative PCR test before the camp starting day (7/17/22) is accepted.
- All guests must comply with St. Olaf’s COVID-19 policies, which are regularly updated in consultation with St Olaf epidemiologist and based on factors including virus transmission levels on campus and in the broader community. You can find the current Campus Alert Level status and requirements on the COVID-19 dashboard: https://wp.stolaf.edu/covid-19/ Prior to your arrival on campus, St Olaf will confirm the current policy regarding mask wearing, testing and other protocols.
Camp Dining: Stav Dining Hall
Meals are prepared by Bon Appétit. Healthy options include the salad bar, grilled meats and veggies, and hot entrees, cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, a deli station, soup, and dessert station. There are plenty of food options for vegetarians, gluten-free, and other specific needs. However, if you have a specific food allergy, please email us so we can get your camper connected with the kitchen. Do you like good food? So do we! St. Olaf is regularly recognized for it's great campus dining, including the Princeton Review ‘Best College Food' rankings. Campers will have the chance to taste the amazing creations, experience and service from our friends at Bon Appétit!
Transportation to campus
St. Olaf College is located 40 miles south of the Twin Cities metropolitan area in historic Northfield, Minnesota. The first choice of traveling to the campus from out of state is to fly to Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP) and then take a shuttle down to St. Olaf. Parents may book a chartered shuttle for the day of arrival and the day of departure through Art of Sciences.
Other recreation options for attractions in Minnesota
Minnesota offers an endless array of things to do for families accompanying your campers. Minnesota boasts numerous outdoor activities which include fishing and boating, wonderful golf ranges, and some of the country’s best bike trails. Minnesota has over 11,000 lakes, and the over 2300 miles long Mississippi river begins as a trickle flowing out of Lake Itasca in Northern Minnesota. There are excellent museums of all types, such as the Science Museums, children’s museums and numerous art museums. Other fun places include the various zoos including the Minnesota Zoo, Valleyfair, and several water parks. Shopping is always nearby, including Mall of America, the United States’ largest shopping and entertainment complex.

- Parents should book flights that arrive Sunday, 7/17 9:15 AM - 3:15 PM, if they decide to use our shuttle, which will pick up from MSP at 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM, and 4:00 PM.
- Parents should book flights that depart Saturday, 7/30 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM, if they decide to use our shuttle, which will leave St Olaf College at 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 3:00 PM.
