Note:
- Students have the opportunity to choose 1 class out of the three or four choices for each class session. The Math class (2 levels) is a full-day class for the first week. The ML+AI class is a full-day class for the second week (morning lectures, afternoon computer labs).
- For math classes, the difficulty groups will be determined by an assessment test. Please read the curriculum page for the description and requirements for each course, so that you decide on the correct course prior to registration.
- Examples of class selection: a grade 7 student could choose game theory (week 1 morning), Python (week 1 afternoon), Biology (week 2 morning), and business (week 2 afternoon). And a grade 10 student could choose math senior in week 1, and ML+AI in week 2. We understand that students’ interests and academic backgrounds are not necessarily based on their grades at school. We would like students to have more choices to explore various subjects.
- Evening activities include an ice cream social, s’mores, board games, poker night, movie night, and sports (swim, soccer, frisbee, and sand volleyball). There will be team-based activities and an Estimathon contest on Saturday, July 19, afternoon and evening.
