Richard HuangCamp CounselorRichard Huang was the captain of Century’s Math League Team and Minnesota’s All-State Math Team. He has been involved in competition math since elementary school, joining both Math Masters and MathCounts. As a seventh grader, Richard placed fourth at the state MathCounts tournament and participated at the National Competition. Richard is a Top 10 MN Math League finisher for two years. He was the captain of MN's All-State Math Team last year and has been a part of the All-State Math Team for five years and is a freshman at the University of Southern California for electrical engineering.

Tracy ZhangCamp CounselorTracy Zhang is a senior at Century High school and the captain of Century's Math League team. While living in China, she suddenly became interested in math in fourth grade. After moving to the U.S., she participated in MathCounts in middle school. In her freshman year, she joined Century’s Math League team and began participating in the AMC series. She became a part of the MN All-State Math Team and attended two college-hosted tournaments her sophomore year. Surprisingly, she enjoys geometry problems a lot despite dreading the subject when she first encountered it.

Benjamin Yan is a junior at Century High School and a co-captain of the Century High School Math Team. He started math competitions in seventh grade; ever since, he has participated in competitions such as CMIMC, ARML, AIME, and MathCounts. He has been on the Minnesota All State Math Team for three years now. Outside of math, Ben is also apart of the Century High School Debate Team.

Helen Li, Helen is a senior at Century High School and member of the Century Math League Team. She was first introduced to competition math after moving to the U.S. in fifth grade. Since then, she has participated in competitions including MathCounts, Math League, AMC, AIME, ARML, and Math Prize for Girls. She has been a top-50 finisher in the Minnesota State Math League and selected for the All-State Math Team for the past two years. Outside of Math, Helen participates in Science Olympiad and enjoys doing origami.

Frank LuCamp CounselorFrank is a senior at Minnetonka High School and one of the current captains of the Minnesota All-State Math Team. He's been doing math competitions seriously since 8th grade. Over the years, he's qualified for USA Math Olympiad three times and was invited to the Math Olympiad Program in 10th grade. He's also participated in various on-site competitions with the MN All-State Math Team, obtaining an 18th place finish at ARML in 2017 and a 41st overall individual finish at HMMT in 2019. Besides Math, he's also participated in physics competitions, finishing 2nd place in the region at Physics Bowl in 9th grade and earning a Silver in USA Physics Olympiad in 11th grade. When he's not doing competitions, he enjoys listening to music and playing piano.

Alexis YiCamp CounselorAlexis is a sophomore at Edina High School and a member of the EHS math team. She has participated in the AMC and the AIME, MathCounts, CMIMC, PUMAC, HMMT, ARML, and the Math Prize for Girls Competition and the Math Prize for Girls Olympiad. In middle school, she placed fourth at the MN State MathCounts competition. This year, she received an Honorable Mention at the Math Prize for Girls Competition and a bronze medal in the Math Prize for Girls Olympiad. Outside of math, Alexis runs on her cross-country team and in local recreational races. She plays violin and is a member of the Symphony orchestra in GTCYS (and her fourth finger sucks). If you’re in a particularly stalker-ish mood, you can find her writing on Zephyrus, the EHS student newspaper, or on Goodreads, where she writes book reviews. She also participates in the MN Scholastic Art Awards. Her hobbies are reading, drawing, writing and breathing.

Zhishan WangCamp CounselorZhishan “Hao Hao” Wang, is an undergraduate student at MIT studying biology and neuroscience. Hao Hao participated in MathCounts, AMC (American Mathematics Competitions), NOSB (National Ocean Sciences Bowl), NSB (National Science Bowl), and NAQT (National Academic Quiz Tournaments). She has two years of experience coaching MathCounts teams as well as individual competitors. She has also tutored math, biology, reading/writing, and US history

Jeremy ZhouCamp CounselorJeremy Zhou is a rising 11th grader at Phillips Academy at Andover. He has been an active participant in competitive math since 6th grade, including the AMC series, MathCounts, HMMT, PUMaC, and more. In his 8th grade year, he represented Texas at MathCounts Nationals and placed 9th in the written competition, and as a 9th grader, he was invited to MOP (the Math Olympiad Program). His favorite genre of math is Olympiad geometry, though he can be convinced to do combinatorics on special occasions. He has also participated in USAPhO, NSB, and NAQT, and he has qualified for the USACO Gold level. Outside of competition, he likes to swim and create Google Docs and Spreadsheets for possibly useful things.

David LiCamp CounselorDavid is a 10th grader at New Hartford Senior High School. He has been attending numerous math competitions since 5th grade, including AMC, MathCounts, HMMT, PUMaC, and ARML. In 2016 and 2017, he participated in the National Mathcounts. In 2017 and 2018, he qualified for the USAMO. In the 2018 February HMMT, he came in 9th place in Geometry and made the HMIC. In addition to math, he also qualified for the USAPHO in 2018 and 2019. David's favorite subject of math is algebra, and he has fun particularly in solving brain teaser problems. Outside of math, he enjoys playing the violin and listening to music.

Timothy AlexanderCamp CounselorTimothy Alexander is an incoming homeschool senior from Rochester Minnesota. His love and interest in math started at a young age and he began participating in math competitions in middle school - winning the Minnesota Mathcounts competition and placing 29th nationally in 2016. Since then he has coached a Mathcounts team and individuals to state. He is a 4 time AIME qualifier and 1 time USAJMO qualifier, Timothy has been active in individual competition year round as well as team competitions such as Math League, HMMT, and ARML (competing on Minnesota's A1 team). This will be his 3rd year as Co-captain of John Marshal Math League team and he is a captain for the All State Math Team this coming year. His favorite math topics include Number Theory and Combinatorics. Outside of math, Timothy loves soccer, games, and working on random programming projects!
